NCAA Extends Recruiting Dead Period Through May 31

Due to Covid-19, the NCAA has decided to extend the Division-I Recruiting Dead Period to May 31st, meaning that players are not permitted to take official or unofficial visits to schools, and college coaches aren’t allowed to visit the prospects.

This doesn’t mean that recruiting is on pause. Recruiting may have become more difficult, but coaches are still allowed to recruit.

College Coaches will have to push themselves to be even more creative with their ability to use with text, telephone, digital platforms and social media.
