NC State Makes Top-8 for 4-Star SF JaDun Michael

4-Star 2020 Small Forward JaDun Michael (6’5″/185) decommitted from Wichita State on March 30th, and NC State made his Top-8 last night, along with Elon, ECU, Penn State, Virginia, Cincinnati, Texas A&M, and Pitt.

NC State is familiar with Michael, being the first ACC school to offer him a scholarship back on September.

247Sports ranks Michael as the #104 overall player nationally in the 2020 recruiting class, and the #4 player in the state of North Carolina (The Burlington School/Burlington, NC). Michael is familiar with NC State 5-star 2020 signee Josh Hall, playing AAU ball with him on Team Loaded.

Michael’s reason for decommitting was his desire to stay closer to home, and NC State definitely meets that criteria.
