PackPros: Garrett Bradbury 2020 Outlook

Published

on

Former NC State Consensus All-American Garrett Bradbury had a rude awakening to the NFL last year as a rookie. Bradbury’s overall grade of 58.1 via ProFootballFocus, which ranked 29th out of NFL Centers (20% of snaps). His grade of 38.7 in Pass Block ranked dead last. Bradbury was strongest in Run Block, with a grade of 61.9 (21st out of 36). His 8 penalties were tied for the 4th highest amongst Centers.

According to Vikings Offensive Line Coach Rick Dennison, Bradbury has taken the biggest step forward out of all the O-Linemen.

The Vikings made a big investment in Bradbury, taking him with the 18th pick in the 1st round of last years draft, and signing him to a 4-year $12.9 million contract, with all of it being guaranteed.

2020 needs to be a year where Bradbury proves his worth, to justify his draft pick, his salary, and his position as starting Center.
