NC State LB Isaiah Moore Honored with #1 Jersey

Dave Doeren takes the #1 jersey seriously, and hand picks who gets the honor of wearing it each year. In a team meeting today, Doeren announced that Linebacker Isaiah Moore would be wearing the coveted #1 jersey in 2020 for NC State.

“Isaiah has led our team both athletically and socially,” said Doeren.  “He is a great person, player and teammate.  He has overcome many obstacles and continues to shine in the face of adversity as a leader who brings strength to the Pack.” (GoPack)

Moore is only the 2nd underclassmen to be honored with the #1 jersey under Doeren, joining HB/TE Jaylen Samuels, who is currently a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
