NC State 2021 Shooting Guard Commit Terquavion Smith’s ranking has been updated by Rivals and 247Sports, and he is officially now a Top-100 prospect in both databases.

Smith jumped 26 spots in 247Sports’ rankings, from #105 to the #79 overall prospect nationally in the 2021 recruiting class, and the #2 player in the state of North Carolina.

He jumped 27 spots in Rivals’ rankings, from #126 to #99 nationally.

You have to give Wolfpack Head Coach Kevin Keatts kudos for having an eye for talent. NC State was the first Division-1 school to offer Smith, and when he committed, he was an unranked player with 0 stars by his name.

As a result of the upgrade, the two-man class of Smith and Ernest Ross (#45 overall) is the 21st best recruiting class according to both Rivals and 247Sports, and the 4th best in the ACC behind FSU (#1), Duke (#2/Rivals), and Louisville (#2/247).
