NCAA Basketball Season to Begin on November 25th

The NCAA voted today for the Men’s and Women’s basketball seasons to begin on November 25th.

• Original start date would have been November 10th.
• Closed scrimmages and exhibition games will be prohibited.
• Max number of games decreased by 4.
• Practice begins October 14th.

Men’s Basketball

• Max 24 games with 1 multiple team event with up to 3 games
• Max 25 games with 1 multiple team event with up to 2 games
• Max 25 games with multiple team event.

Women’s Basketball

• Max 23 games with 1 multiple team event with up to 4 games
• Max 25 games with multiple team event.

NCAA Championship Consideration 

• Play minimum of 13 games (50%).
• All 13 must be against D-1.
• Recommend minimum of 4 non-conference games.
