WRAL: NC State Expects to Spend $1 million on COVID-19 Testing

According to Joe Giglio of WRALSportsFan, NC State expects to spend $1 million on COVID-19 testing for the the Fall sports season.

According to the report, the current tab is up to $344,740

May-July – $53,870
August – $203,575
1st 2 Weeks of September – $87,295

The cost per test is down from $115 to $85.

This is a hefty bill considering the Athletic budget is expected to take a $40 million hit.
