Former NC State Quarterback Russell Wilson earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors for his performance in Week 1.

It’s only Week 1…but

  • Wilson joined Steve Young as the 2nd Quarterback in NFL history to have 30,000+ passing yards and 4,000+ rushing yards in a career.
  • His 88.6% completion percentage is tied for the 3rd highest mark in a single game (min 35 attempts).
  • Wilson is the 11th player in NFL history to throw for 30,000 yards through their first 9 seasons.

Wilson earned the weekly honor twice in 2019, in Week 2 and Week 9.
