Russell Wilson Cooks up 5TDs on SNF

Former NC State Quarterback Russell Wilson was “cooking” on Sunday Night Football last night, in the Seahawks 35-30 victory over the Patriots. Wilson was an insane 21-28 for 288 yards and 5 touchdowns (1 interception). He also rushed the ball 5 times for 39 yards.

People have been begging to #letrusscook, and cook he has thus far in 2019.

His completion percentage of 82.5% through the first 2 games of the season is the best in NFL history.

He smashed another NFL record through 2 weeks, throwing 9 touchdowns with only 11 incompletions. The prior record was 17 incompletions.

Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick might be unbeatable for many, but not Russ.

“I’m glad that we only have to play him once every four years,” the six-time Super Bowl-champion coach of the AFC New England Patriots said of the quarterback for the NFC Seahawks. (Link)

Wilson’s 38-yard touchdown pass to David Moore last night was the 2nd most improbable completion since 2018.

Russ has never even notched a single vote for MVP in his career, but maybe…just maybe…this is the year.
