NC State Offers Local Big Man Jai Smith

NC State offered a scholarship to local big man Jai Smith (6’10″/235) yesterday.

Smith transferred from Bishop Ludden Junior-Senior High School in Syracuse this summer to play for Bull City Prep in Durham, North Carolina.

247Sports & Rivals both rank Smith as a 3-Star prospect.

Prior to transferring, 247Sports’ Composite ranked him as the #3 player in the state of New York.

Smith also holds offers from Alabama, Arizona, Georgia Tech, Marquette, Memphis, Houston, UMASS, Wake Forest, VCU, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Texas A&M, West Virginia, Xavier and others.
