GIGLIO: “You can pencil in NC State for the Gator Bowl”

In our opinion, there isn’t a more trusted source out there than WRAL’s JP Giglio, which is why we were excited to see this tweet just moments ago…

Won't be official until Sunday but you can pencil in NC State to the Gator Bowl on Jan. 2 in Jacksonville, Fla. and Wake Forest to the Duke's Mayo Bowl in Charlotte on Dec. 30.

Now, this makes a lot of sense and there were a lot of others predicting this to happen. This article from a week ago, from Brett MucMurphy on Stadium, projected State to face off against Ole Miss in the Gator Bowl.

Giglio says it won’t be official until Sunday, so until then it’s just a rumor. However, it’s a rumor coming from a very reliable source.
