WATCH: NC State shows fight in 74-73 win over Pitt | Condensed Game

NC State got a much-needed win, outlasting Pitt 74-73 on Wednesday night.

Jericole Hellems scored 17 points in just 25 minutes, DJ Funderburk put up 16 points and 8 boards, while freshman Cam Hayes had his best game yet in conference play with 11 points and 9 assists in the win.

The Pack was without Devon Daniels (knee) and Thomas Allen (leg) in this one. Meanwhile, they only got 21 minutes from a banged-up Beverly and 25 minutes from a foul-plagued Jericole Hellems as they were forced to rely on their freshman for the first time in ACC play.
