2021 Wolfpack commit Breon Pass named All-American Finalist

NC State 2012 PG commit, Breon Pass was named as a finalist for the Sports Illustrated All-American team.

Pass joins 49 other finalists who are hoping to be dubbed “SI All-American” by April. The list started at 99 and is now down to 50. The final cut will be a list of 15 names. Pass was the lone finalist from North Carolina.

Here is an excerpt from the announcement:

“It’s been a challenging year across the board, but luckily we’ve been able to see these guys a significant amount, all things considered,” said SI All-American basketball recruiting director Jason Jordan. “It’s remarkable how these guys have been able to produce to this level in a season where the rhythm is constantly being thrown off with postponements and cancellations.

“In the end, 15 players broken up over three teams, will be able to say that, even in a pandemic year, they were considered the best of the best.”
