It just so happens NC State opens up their ACC Tournament on what would have been Jim Valvano’s 75th birthday. The man who made impossible seem possible at NC State. The guy who helped birth a generation of State fans that despite the odds, never gives up.

Whether it was on the court, or in his fight against cancer, Jimmy V was an absolute warrior who stood down to nobody.

Let’s celebrate this legend’s birthday and hype ourselves up for what could be our next improbable run, by rewatching (for the 5,000th time) THE SPEECH.
