State MBB Heads to Texas for the NIT

For those hoping that State’s MBB season would go just a little longer, their wish was granted Sunday night. The Wolfpack were one of 16 teams selected and will head to Texas as a 3-seed to play 2-seed Davidson on Thursday.

Davidson finished the season 13-8, ranked third in the A10 behind St. Bonaventure and VCU. They finished the seasons 3-3, going 1-3 against those same top A10 teams.

On the other side of the bracket, #1 seed Colorado State faces #4 Buffalo. Game time is set for 7pm Thursday on either ESPN or ESPN2. Pack Insider will have your full game preview shortly.
