On offense, the Wolfpack bats came alive.
Sophomore 3B Vojtech Mensik was 1-4 with a grand slam.

NC State finished with 9 runs on 10 hits. Meanwhile, Johnston was dealing. He went all 9, gave up 7 hits, struck out 4 gave up 2 runs and walked 2.
The Wolfapck moves to 6-9 and 2-8 in conference. This was a much-needed win for a team that has the talent but needs to kick it into gear
