Farrar Transferring Out of NC State

Published

on

Nick Farrar announced through his personal social channels today, that he will be entering the transfer portal.

Farrar was an All-State honoree coming out of Apex. By the time he graduated, he had moved into a top-ten ranking within the state of North Carolina.

Like other Pack freshmen, the lack of off-season workouts and subsequent COVID breaks, hurt his ability to fit into Keatts’ system. For Farrar, his body wasn’t in the right state for ACC play and took well into the season to correct. However, we do believe he has the chance to contribute elsewhere with a fresh start.

Season totals for Farrar; Saw action in 7 games, with his best outing being a 5 point, 1 block and rebound game against Campbell.

With the commitment of Greg Gantt earlier in the day, Farrar’s scholarship will transfer over to him.

Yeah… if you are unable to get rid of the excess weight… you are not going to make it in the Keatts’ system. Players that do well improve every year… and like to spend time in the weight room. It’s unfortunate that he didn’t have the motivation.
