Nick Farrar, who left NC State, has found his landing spot

As we reported last week, Nick Farrar, the NC State freshman, decided to leave the program and enter into the transfer portal.

Farrar was a 3-star prospect out of Apex, NC who was an interesting recruit. He was an undersized lefty forward, with a frame that could eventually carry a good deal of muscle. He moved well for his size and had a jumper that vastly improved over his HS senior season.

He even dropped an insane 98 points over 3 games during the John Wall Invitational his senior season.

So there was thought that Farrar would log some minutes and give Keatts some scoring in his freshman season. For one reason or another, that didn’t happen.

Now Farrar is headed elsewhere.

We wish Nick the best of luck at Charleston and we’ll be rooting for him to get focused and deliver on the promise we saw from him as a senior at Apex Friendship.
