WATCH: Barstool’s ‘Minute-Man’ goes scorched earth on the NCAA in support of NC State

If you have an Instagram and you follow any friends who like Barstool Sports, then I’m sure you’ve seen a segment from ‘The Minute Man.’ The guy has made a living giving people the news with an unapologetic delivery, pointing out hypocrisies and ridiculousness over the past couple of years.

Today, he took aim at the NCAA. (beware NSFW – language)

Like him or not, this is overwhelmingly the tone coming from college baseball fans and independent media all over the country and for NC State’s long-term brand perception, this doesn’t hurt.

One of the all-time greatest underdog schools from the 80s gets a booster shot (pun intended) of support from underdog lovers across the nation. A new generation of fans has been introduced to NC State this week and while we certainly wish it was under better circumstances, I think the university will take this press as a consolation prize.
