When it rains it pours. After the loss to Miss State, it was announced Wilson was done for the year. After the next loss to Miami? Now it’s Isaiah Moore who will no longer be playing on Saturdays.

Monday afternoon it was announced that Moore will miss the remainder of the season. Last year’s All-ACC Honorable Mention, Moore was both captain and wore #1 with pride. With the news Doeren said, “That to me was the biggest loss of the game. Losing a player of that magnitude, a leader of that magnitude.” (News & Observer)

Moore was taken off the field in extreme knee pain early in the game. He was able to return the next defensive series, but only for a few plays. Prior to heading to the locker room, Moore when to each defensive teammate to spark some energy, as the true leader he is.

Through the previous six weeks, Moore had 43 tackles (5 for loss), a sack, interception and 7 QB hits. At the pace he was at, he would have set personal bests in just about ever statistical category.
