Pack in the Pros
Former Wolfpack QB getting the surprise start today for the Dolphins :UPDATE: Leads them to victory!
UPDATE: Fomer Wolfpacker, Jacoby Brissett, led the Dolphins to their 2nd win of the season, defeating the Texans 17-9. Brissett threw for 244 yards and a TD, although he did have 2 INTs. He may be in line for a couple more starts if Tua Tagovailoa can’t come back from his broken finger.
In some late-breaking Sunday morning news, Tua Tagovailoa will be heading to the bench for the Miami Dolphins with a broken middle finger in his throwing hand.
This means, former NC State QB, Jacoby Brissett gets the start.
Dolphins’ QB Tua Tagovailoa has a small fracture in the middle finger of his throwing hand that has not recovered enough to allow him to start today’s game against the Texans, per league sources. Jacoby Brissett now is expected to be the Dolphins’ starting QB today, per source.

Brissett has gotten some decent reps already this season. During that time, Brissett has thrown for over 700 yards, 4 TDs, and 2 INTs. He, however, has yet to lead the Dolphins to a win (they only have 1 win this season overall).
Today Brissett will go up against the Texans at 1pm.
