More Players Back Next Year for NC State Football

Hours after being named ACC first-team defense, Cory Durden announced he was coming back to the Pack.

With news of Moore and Fagan returning, amongst rumblings of even more players, State is shaping up to be in a prime position to make another run at an ACC crown.

Durden was one of the two brilliant Florida State transfers for State. Playing in all 11 games, he racked up 31 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 4.5 tackles for loss and was integral in getting pressure into the opponent backfield.

Assuming that Ingle and Thomas stay, this defense will be absolutely loaded again. Get some DE help in transfer window and just a bit more depth in secondary? My goodness. And we haven’t even touched yet on Bam, Leary and even the outside chance of Gill also coming back. We shall wait and see…
