The Takeaways
Although NC State is favored here, it’s Nebraska that has the advantage in the 4 factors. They lead in 4 categories, while the Pack leads in 3. They are tied in one. However, it should be noted that NC State has played a much stronger schedule to this point, so that might be what you’re seeing here.
Long story short, Nebraska scores it more efficiently than the Pack, they are about the same in defensive efficiency, NC State is better at turning you over and protecting the ball. NC State is also better on the offensive glass, however like every year under Keatts, they do a poor job limiting opponents on the offensive glass. Nebraska is better in that regard. Nebraska also gets to the line more, and limits opponents getting to the line better than NC State.
I’m going to go out on a ledge and say that overall, they match up pretty well, but NC State takes it in four overtimes. I’m thinking… I don’t know, maybe… Nebraska 100, NC State 101. No. NC State, 104. Yep. That’s what my gut tells me at least.
Whoa!
I have some questions for you about future Super Bowl winners I’d like to bet on.
