Former NC State QB, Glennon, to Start for Giants

A month after Brissett had to step in for Miami, Glennon will do the same thing for the Giants. Replacing an injured Jones (please, please win Mike so we can take some smack about Dookies), Glennon will get his first start of the year, Sunday. Ironically, against Brissett’s Dolphins.

His only previous action this year, was in October when he came in for an injured Jones against the Cowboys.

The former State QB has made quite the journey in the NFL. Drafted by the Bucs, before making stops in Chicago, Arizona, Oakland, Jacksonville and the beginning of the year pickup by New York. In total, 44 touchdowns to 27 interceptions, his best year might have been his rookie season with Tampa.

Plenty of memories from Glennon while at State. “Replacing” Wilson with all the pressure in the world, Glennon’s highlight moment was a comeback upset of then ranked #3 Seminoles at Carter-Finley.

When Brissett got his start, he pulled out a win. Can Glennon make it two for two for State backups?
