Preview of The Bethune-Cookman Wildcats
Bethune-Cookman comes in at 1-7 on the season.  Their only win was an 81-75 victory over Bryant.  They are a team that gets most of their production from their guards. Joe French, a 6’4 sophomore, is their leading scorer at 15ppg. They only score about 60 points per game and they aren’t a great shooting team, hitting just 41% from the floor and 30% from long range. Their big is a 6’9 senior who averages 8 points and 5 boards per contest.

Looking at their roster, they should be seriously overmatched by the Wolfpack. They don’t have the size, length or athleticism to go man to man with State and they certainly don’t have anyone to match up with Seabron (who should have a big game tonight.)

Keys for NC State
The keys are simple. Play your game, take smart shots, and rebound. If NC State can do those things they should come out with a sizable victory.

This game is the annual Reynolds Coliseum game, so it should be loud and exciting despite the fact that it likely won’t be very close. This could be a good game for Keatts to tinker with some things and get some good minutes for guys like Breon Pass and Ernest Ross, both of whom are going to be needed going forward.

This is also the last tune-up before State takes on #2 Purdue this weekend, so State needs to make sure to no over-exert their stars and limit the potential for injury heading into that one.
