WATCH: NC State ‘relentless’ in 68-63 win over Virginia Tech | Condensed Game

NC State finally got their first conference win of the season, on the road, in a game where they were picked to lose by 9. Keatts and his players said they picked a word for their team this week, and that word was relentless. They seemed to channel that in this on as it was a game of runs, but the Pack just refused to go away, eventually outlasting the Hokies thanks to another huge performance by Derion Seabron.

Seabron went for 21 points and 10 rebounds. Terquavion Smith had another great night shooting, finishing with 17 points, and Jericole Hellems was the ‘good Hellems’ again, finishing with 15 points.

State moves to 8-7 overall and 1-3 in the conference. Next up is Clemson on Saturday, at home.
