WATCH: NC State Women cruise past #9 seeded Kansas State 89-57. Advance to Sweet 16.

NC State took out Kansas State 89-57 in the second round of the NCAA tournament. This gets the Wolfpack women to their fourth straight sweet sixteen appearance and has them taking on #5 sedded Notre Dame at 11:30am this Friday on ESPN.

This time it was Kayla Jones stepping up for 18 points, 5 boards and 3 assists to lead NC State. Perez was back at it, notching 15 points and Diamon Johnson continued her stellar play, also notching 15 points, but doing it from perfection from 3 point range (she was 5 for 5).

State’s defense was the difference-maker. They forced 16 turnovers and dominated on the glass 38-25.
