Currently, there are 26 former NC State players on NFL rosters. Currently each team can carry 90 players on their roster, but in the upcoming weeks, that number will progressively be whittled down to 53.

Below is breakdown of what each former Wolfpack player is set to make in 2022, along with details about their contract, and their total career earnings prior to the start of the 2022 season.

Quarterback Russell Wilson – entering 11th season (Broncos) – $24 million. Wilson still has two seasons remaining on his 4-year contract that he signed with Seattle back in 2019, and will become an unrestricted free agent after the 2023 season.

Career Earnings Prior to 2022: $181.36 million

Tackle Ikem Ekwonu – entering 1st season (Panthers) – $17.93 million. The Panthers signed Ekwonu to a 4-year rookie contract worth $27.57 million (all guaranteed) after drafting him 6th overall in the draft this summer.

Defensive Tackle B.J. Hill – entering 5th season (Bengals) – $15 million. Hill inked a 3-year contract worth $30 million with the Bengals back in March. While Hill won’t become an unrestricted free agent until after the 2024 season, the Bengals have the ability to opt out after the 2023 season.

Career Earnings Prior to 2022: $5.2 million

Guard Joe Thuney – entering 7th season (Chiefs) – $14.4 million. Thuney is entering the 2nd year of a 5-year $80 million contract with the Chiefs. The former Wolfpack All-American will become an unrestricted free agent after the 2025 season, but has an opt-out clause after 2023.

Career Earnings Prior to 2022: $38.1 million

Linebacker Bradley Chubb – entering 5th season (Broncos) – $13.93 million. Chubb entering his final year of his rookie contract (4-year), which is actually a 5th year option that Denver picked up. The former Wolfpack All-American will become an unrestricted free agent after this season.

Career Earnings Prior to 2022: $27.6 million

Defensive Tackle Justin Jones – entering 5th season (Bears) – $7.1 million. The Bears signed Jones to a 2-year contract worth $12 million back in March. Jones is set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2024, but the Bears have the ability to opt out of the 2nd year of his contract in 2023.

Quarterback Jacoby Brissett – entering 7th season (Browns) –$4.65 million (1-year contract)

Career Earnings Prior to 2022: $38.2 million

Wide Receiver Jakobi Meyers – entering 4th season (Patriots) – $3.99 million (1-year contract)

Career Earnings Prior to 2022: $2.42 million

Running Back Nyheim Hines – entering his 5th season (Colts) – $3.64 million. While Hines won’t become an unrestricted free agent until the 2025 season, the Colts have the ability to opt out of the rest of his contract after this season.

Career Earnings Prior to 2022: $9.8 million

Linebacker Germaine Pratt – entering 4th season (Bengals) – $2.54 million. Pratt is entering the final year of his 4-year rookie contract, and will be an unrestricted free agent after this season.

Career Earnings Prior to 2022: $3.66 million

Center Garrett Bradbury – entering 4th season (Vikings) – $2.25 million. Bradbury is entering the final year of his 4-year rookie contract. Back in May the Vikings declined to pick up Bradbury’s 5th year option that would have paid him $13.2 million in 2023.

Tackle Will Richardson – entering 5th season (Jaguars) – $2 million (1-year contract)

Career Earnings Prior to 2022: $3.3 million

Punter A.J. Cole – entering 4th season (Raiders) – $1.6 million. Cole signed a 4-year extension worth $12 million with Las Vegas back in December, and is under contract through the 2025 season, though the Raiders have the ability to opt out of the remainder of the contract at the end of this season.

Cornerback Dontae Johnson – entering his 9th season (49ers) – $1.27 million (1-year contract)

Defensive End Kentavius Street – entering 5th season (Saints) – $1.27 million (1-year contract)

Safety Juston Burris – entering 7th season (Panthers) – $1.19 million (1-year contract)

Safety Josh Jones – entering 6th season (Seahawks) – $1.09 million (1-year contract)

Defensive End James Smith-Williams – entering 3rd season (Commanders) – $895,000. Smith Williams is entering the 3rd year of his 4-year rookie contract worth up to $3.39 million.

Defensive Tackle Larrell Murchison – entering 3rd season (Titans) – $895,000 – Murchison is entering the 3rd year of his 4-year rookie contract worth up to $3.57 million.

Defensive Tackle Alim McNeil – entering 2nd season (Lions) – $893, 145. McNeil is entering the 2nd year of his 4-year rookie contract worth up to $5.13 million.

Wide Receiver Kelvin Harmon – entering 4th season (Commanders) – $825,000 (1-year contract)

Punter Trenton Gill – entering 1st season (Bears) – $782,000. After being drafted in the 7th round by Chicago this summer, Gill was signed to a 4-year rookie contract worth up to $3.74 million.

Below is a breakdown of players from last years Wolfpack squad that signed undrafted free agent contracts this summer. While there is no guarantee they make the 53-man roster, below is the details of their contracts. 

Running Back Zonovan Knight – entering 1st season (Jets) – $735,000. New York signed Bam to a 3-year $2.59 million contract, with $130,000 of it guaranteed.

Tight End Dylan Parham – entering 1st Season (Broncos) – $715,00. Denver signed Parham to a 3-year contract worth up to $2.57 million, with $20,000 guaranteed.

Linebacker Vi Jones – entering 1st season (Seahawks) – $715,000. Jones signed a 3-year contract with Seattle worth up to $2.57 million, with $10,000 guaranteed.

Defensive End Daniel Joseph – entering 1st season (Bills) – $707,500. Buffalo signed Joseph to a 3-year contract worth up to $2.56 million, with $2,500 guaranteed.
