4-Star SG Davin Cosby Sets Official Visit to NC State

2023 4-Star Shooting Guard Davin Cosby Jr. has set the date for his final Official Visit, and will be taking it to NC State on September 16th. On August 21st, Cosby trimmed his list to 7 schools: NC State, Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, Virginia, Wake Forest and Auburn.

Cosby Jr. already took an Official Visit to Wake Forest in July, and will be also taking Official Visits to Virginia (8/27), Alabama (9/3), Tennessee (10/15), and LSU (10/22) as well. He also plans to take an unofficial visit to Auburn in the near future as well.

Here is what Cosby Jr. had to say to 247Sports about his upcoming Official Visit to NC State:

NC State: “Coach [Kevin] Keatts is a very genuine guy, when I took the unofficial I liked everything about it, the campus, the team. I am going to take an official visit on September 16th. He trusts his guys and lets his freshmen and guards play.” (247)

The Wolfpack coaching staff extended an offer to Cosby Jr. back on July 19th.

Raleigh isn’t unfamiliar territory to Cosby Jr. He plays for Word of God Academy in Raleigh. Rivals ranks Cosby Jr. as the #84 overall player nationally in the 2023 recruiting class, and ON3 ranks him as the #4 player in the state of North Carolina.
