Former All-ACC NC State Wide Receiver Kelvin Harmon has been released by the Washington Commanders.

This marks the second straight preseason in which Washington has released Harmon.

After being drafted in the 6th round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Commanders, Harmon played in all 16 games as a rookie (started 8), collecting 30 receptions for 365 yards. Unfortunately, prior to the 2020 season, Harmon tore his ACL, and missed the entire year.

When Harmon was released last Fall, but was kept on the Practice Squad, before being signed to a reserve/futures contract in January of this year.

I have a hard time believing Harmon won’t be scooped up by another NFL squad. Here’s to hoping Harmon finds another NFL home soon.
