4-Star Top-50 WR Jonathan Paylor Includes NC State in Top-20

4-Star 2024 Wide Receiver/Athlete Jonathan Paylor has trimmed his list to 20 schools, and unsurprisingly, NC State and UNC are on the list.

You might be thinking…is it even relevant to share a Top-20 list of a 2024 recruit? Well…when on opening week of the 2022 high school football season, Paylor was wearing UNC gloves and an NC State head band, it becomes a tad bit more relevant.

Paylor is a consensus 4-star prospect, and 247Sports and ESPN rank him as a Top-50 player nationally, 35th and 47th respectively. Both 247Sports and ESPN rank him as the #2 player in the state of North Carolina in 2024.

As a Sophomore, Paylor reeled in 42 receptions for 936 yards and 7 touchdowns for Cummings High School in Burlington, North Carolina. He also rushed for 655 yards (9.6 yards per carry) and 5 touchdowns.

NC State offered Paylor back in June of 2021.
