NC State Football Looking to Break Longest Current Conference Championship Drought in ACC in 2022

The monkey is on the back of the NC State football program, and it’s been on there for quite some time. Heading into the 2022 season, the Wolfpack currently hold the longest conference championship drought in the ACC.

It’s been 43 years.

In light of the information above, it might be shocking for you to realize that NC State has the 3rd Championships in the history of ACC Football among active ACC tams, and 4th ever when you include Maryland, who is no longer part of the conference.
