Former NC State All-American Shortstop Trea Turner hit his 1,000th career Major League Hit last night in the Dodgers 3-2 victory over the Marlins.

In perfect Burner Turner fashion, his 1,000th career hit in the big leagues was an infield hit.

Turner’s parents were in attendance, and he thinks he will give the game ball to his Pops.

Currently, Turner has 161 hits in 2022, which ranks 2nd in the MLB, behind teammate Freddie Freeman (163).

Back on August 15th, Turner became NC State’s All-Time Career MLB Hit leader.
