Former NC State Tight End Dylan Parham Added to Broncos Practice Squad

Former NC State Tight End Dylan Parham has been added to the Broncos Practice Squad, after being released by Denver yesterday.

He didn’t hear his name called in April during the NFL Draft, but Parham was picked up by the Broncos as an Undrafted Free Agent quickly thereafter.

Parham was at NC State from 2016-21. He arrived at NC State as a Quarterback in 2016, and redshirted his Freshman season, before being moved to Tight End in 2017. He saw action on the field in 5 seasons (2017-21).

A former Quarterback at Southeast High School in Raleigh, now is on the Practice Squad of the Denver Broncos as a Tight End.

I love stories like that.

Each NFL team can carry 16 players on their Practice Squad in 2022, and it’s a good paying gig.

Practice squad players make $11,500 per week or $207,000 for 18 weeks. Veteran players with over two years of experience will make a minimum of $15,400 per week or $277,200 for 18 weeks, and a maximum of $19,900 per week or $358,200. (Link)
