NC State was in to see 2023 Big Man Braden Pierce Yesterday

2023 Center Braden Pierce (7’0″/230) will be taking an Official Visit to NC State this weekend, but that didn’t stop the Wolfpack coaching staff from dropping by IMG Academy in Florida yesterday to visit the big fella a couple of days before hand.

This is an aggressive push. They know they aren’t alone in the pursuit of Pierce. Vanderbilt, Indiana and UCF were there yesterday as well. Iowa will be in next week.

Utah, Clemson, Georgia, Maryland, Ole Miss and Nebraska are in pursuit as well, to name a few more. When we interviewed him a few weeks back, he said NC State was recruiting him the hardest.

In June, Pierce took unofficial visits to NC State, Florida State and Georgia. When he visited Raleigh on June 27th, he left with an offer from the coaches.

Pierce was originally a part of the 2022 recruiting class, but is taking a prep year at IMG Academy to be a part of the 2023 class.

Currently, Pierce is an unranked and unrated recruit, but that hasn’t stopped the Wolfpack coaching staff from putting him near the top of their wish list.
