Texas Tech Linebacker Bryce Ramirez suffered a devastating lower leg fracture in Saturday’s matchup in Carter-Finley Stadium. After suffering the injury, the game was stopped for roughly 10 minutes while Ramirez was stabilized and carted off the field.

As Ramirez was being carted off the field, numerous NC State players came to encourage the Red Raider’s Linebacker.

After having an initial surgery, Ramirez had to have a second surgery here in Raleigh. Through everything, the Wolfpack have found a fan in Ramirez, who is appreciative of their love and support.

Wolfpack head coach Dave Doeren went by to visit Ramirez in the hospital today.

Ramirez is a former walk-on who was awarded a scholarship, and was starting his first career game against NC State on Saturday. Truly a heartbreaking situation.

Ramirez is expected to be able to head back to Texas by the end of the week.

We are praying for you Bryce!
