This past weekend was the 3rd week of the 2022 NFL season. Below is a breakdown of how the 19 former NC State players on NFL rosters did.

Quarterback Jacoby Brissett (starter) was excellent on Thursday night in the Browns 29-17 victory over the Steelers. He was 21/31 for 220 yards and 2 touchdowns, with a QB Rating of 109.6.

Defensive Tackle B.J. Hill (starter) had 4 tackles, half a sack,  a pass breakup, a forced fumble, and 2 fumble recoveries in the Bengals’ 27-12 victory over the Jets.

Defensive Tackle Kentavius Street had 2 tackles in New Orleans’ 14-22 loss to Carolina.

Linebacker Bradley Chubb had 2 tackles, 1 sack and 1 QB Hit in the Broncos’ 11-10 win over the 49ers.

Defensive Tackle Justin Jones (starter) had 2 tackles in the Bears 23-20 win over the Texans, and one of them was his 1st sack in Chicago. He also had 2 QB Hits.

Quarterback Russell Wilson (starter) was 20/33 for 184 yards in Denver’s 11-10 victory over San Francisco. He also ran the ball 6 times for 17 yards.

Safety Josh Jones (starter) had 7 tackles in Seattle’s 23-27 loss to Atlanta.

Wide Receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling (starter) caught 4 passes for 48 yards (7 targets) in the Chiefs’ 17-20 loss to the Colts.

Running Back Nyheim Hines (starter) had 5 receptions for 23 yards (6 targets), and 3 rushes for 7 yards in Indy’s 20-17 win over Kansas City.

Punter Trenton Gill (starter) punted the ball 4 times for an average of 45.5 yards (56 long), pinning one inside the 20 in Chicago’s 23-20 victory over Houston.

Punter A.J. Cole (starter) punted the ball 3 times for an average of 48 yards (58 long), pinning two inside the 20 in the Raiders’ 22-24 loss to the Titans.

Defensive Tackle Alim McNeil (starter) had 1 tackle and 1 QB Hit in Detroit’s 24-28 loss to Minnesota.

Center Garrett Bradbury (Vikings), Guard Joe Thuney (Chiefs) and Tackle Ikem Ekwonu all started for their respective teams on Sunday.
