3-Star Running Back/Athlete Kyron Jones Commits to NC State

Three-Star 2023 Running Back/Athlete Kyron Jones just verbally committed to NC State.

247Sports ranks Jones as the #17 player in the state of North Carolina, and ON3 has him at #18.

Jones chose to run with the Wolfpack over offers from Notre Dame, UCONN, Kentucky, Duke, West Virginia, Vanderbilt, Miami and others.

He took only two Official Visits, to Connecticut and to Raleigh.

Through 5 games in 2022, Jones has 697 rushing yards (14.5 yards per carry) and 9 rushing touchdowns for Charlotte Christian. He also has 12 receptions for 160 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Jones was recently named an All-American in track for the 100 (10.6) and 200 (21.6).

Jones is the Wolfpack’s 13th verbal commitment in the 2023 recruiting class.
