NC State Moves Back 1 Spot to #15 in the Week 7 AP Poll

You’ve gotta love the AP Poll voters.

For the 2nd time in 2022, NC State has gone backwards in the AP Poll after winning a game.

After defeating Florida State 19-17 in dramatic fashion last night, the Wolfpack fell back one spot to #15 in the Week 7 AP Poll. This was to a Seminoles team that was only 3 spots outside the AP Poll, sitting at 28th. They were ranked the week before.

NC State has now been ranked in the AP Poll for 13 straight polls, which is the longest streak since 1992-93, when they were ranked in 22 straight polls. The Wolfpack’s current streak of 13 straight polls, is the 2nd longest in school history.

The highest the Wolfpack have ever been ranked in the AP Poll is 3rd, back on November 6th, 1967, when they were 8-0.
