NC State Wide Receiver Anthony Smith Out for Remainder of 2022 Season

NC State Sophomore Wide Receiver Anthony Smith is out for the remainder of the season according to The Wolfpacker. It was notable that Smith’s name wasn’t on the Depth Chart released earlier today, but this explains the absence.

Smith hasn’t played since the Texas Tech game. Even though he only had 2 catches for 58 yards and a touchdown in the first three games, his absence has been felt and will continue to be felt. Smith is possibly the fastest player on the Wolfpack roster, and what has seemed to be the lone deep threat in the Wide Receiver room.

Smith is a true Sophomore, so his redshirt year is still in play.
