NC State Wearing White-on-Black-on-White UNI Combo Against Virginia Tech

#24 NC State will be wearing White Helmets, Black Jerseys and White Pants against Virginia Tech on Thursday night.

The Wolfpack Creative Team has outdone themselves as of late in the UNI Combo reveals. I didn’t know if the reveal for UNI Combo against Syracuse, shot at the NC State Fair, could be beat…but it happened.

This is awesome on so many levels. With this game bumping up to Halloween, playing off the vintage scene from The Shining in the hallway of the Overlook Hotel is brilliant.

Welcome back Trent Pennix! Pennix plays the role of the little boy in The Shining, Danny, riding his tricycle down the hallway. Standing at the end of the hallway, when Pennix rounds the corner, are twin brothers Ced and Fred Seabrough, playing the role of the twin girls in the Shining. I’m geeking out, for real.

The last time NC State wore this UNI combo was in 2020, when the Wolfpack beat Georgia Tech 23-13.

The only other time that the Wolfpack have worn this combination under Dave Doeren, was when they lost to Mississippi State 28-51 in the Belk Bowl in 2015.
