#21 NC State released their depth chart for their game this Saturday night vs. #20 Wake Forest.

Notes

• Senior Bryson Speas has shifted over from Right Tackle to Left Tackle. He started the year as the starter at Right Tackle, and then Senior Timothy McKay took his spot. Now he is listed as Sophomore Anthony Belton’s backup, but there is an “Or” in between their names.
  • As a result, Freshman Patrick Matan has moved over from being the backup at Left Tackle to being Timothy McKay’s backup at Right Tackle.
• Freshman Wide Receiver Terrell Timmons hasn’t been on the depth chart, but after his performance (2 receptions for 51 yards) against Virginia Tech, he is listed as the 3rd string receiver at the Z-Receiver position, behind Keyon Lesane and Julian Gray.
  • As a result, Junior Jasiah Provillon has moved from being the 3rd string Receiver at the Z, to the 3rd string receiver at X.
• After Freshman MJ Morris’ performance against the Hokies, he has moved ahead of Jack Chambers as the starting Quarterback.
• Freshman Defensive Ends Brandon Cleveland has taken the place of Freshman Claude Larkins as the backup to Davin Vann.
• Junior Jakeen Harris has been listed as a reserve at both Nickel and Free Safety. Now he is listed as the backup to Cyrus Fagan at Strong Safety, with an “or” in between their names.
  • As a result, Sophomore Devan Boykin is the only backup listed behind Senior Tyler Baker-Williams at Nickel.
• I’ve been wondering when this would finally happen. Sophomore Aydan White is listed as the starter at Left Corner with an “Or” in between his name and Senior Derrek Pitts.
  • White has been listed as a backup all year, but has played the third most snaps on the defensive side of the ball. For quite sometime, he’s been listed as the backup at both corner positions.
• With Harris moving from Free Safety to Strong Safety, Freshman Sean Brown is now the backup to Senior Tanner Ingle at Free Safety.
