Former NC State All-American Bradley Chubb has been traded from the Denver Broncos to the Miami Dolphins.

Last week, expectations began to rise that Denver would trade Chubb, with the Broncos likely not making the playoffs this year, and the former Wolfpack star set to become a free agent at the end of the season.

The Dolphins traded their 2023 1st round pick, 2024 4th round pick, and Running Back Chase Edmonds, and the Broncos gave up Chubb and a 5th round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Adam Schefter also noted that the Dolphins are expected to work out a longterm deal with Chubb soon.

Chubb is in the final year of his rookie contract (4 years/$27.3 million, with a 5th year option that was picked up this year for $12.7 million) with Denver, who drafted him with the 5th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Though Chubb has battled injuries in his first 5 seasons in the NFL, he has been productive, picking up 26 sacks and 33 tackles for loss in 49 career games.

Through 8 games this year, Chubb has 26 tackles, 5.5 sacks and 4 tackles for loss.

Denver is struggling, Miami is looking promising. Nice landing spot for Chubb and probably a better market for his endorsements.
