Former NC State Wide Receiver Emeka Emezie Signed to Carolina Panthers Practice Squad

Former NC State Wide Receiver Emeka Emezie has been signed to the Carolina Panthers Practice Squad.

He had also recently worked out for the Arizona Cardinals.

Emezie earned 2nd Team All-ACC honors last year after hauling in 60 receptions for 802 yards and 6 touchdowns, but failed to hear his name called in the 2022 NFL Draft in April.

Emezie is the all-time career receptions leader at NC State, and ranks 3rd in receiving yards and 5th in touchdown receptions.

The signing of Emezie reunites him on the Panthers with former Wolfpack teammate Ikem Ekwonu, and former NC State Defensive Back Juston Burris.
