Published

on

Tomorrow’s matchup between #16 NC State and Boston College will mark the 19th time the two teams have played one another, and the Eagles hold a 10-8 advantage in the series that started back in 1936.

The only two times the two teams played one another prior to being ACC foes (BC joined the ACC in 2005) was in 1936 and 1937. Both games were in Boston, and the Wolfpack went 1-1 in those two games.

Since BC joined the ACC in 2005, NC State is 7-9 against the Eagles. With that being said, the Wolfpack have won 4 of the last six games against Boston College.

The past 10 games have been split right down the middle, with each team winning 5.

All-time, NC State is 4-3 against BC at home.

Dave Doeren is 4-4 against Boston College, and 1-2 against the Eagles in Carter-Finley Stadium.

The last time the Wolfpack faced the Eagles was last year up in Boston, with NC State winning convincingly 33-7. The last time NC State hosted BC was in 2018, and the Wolfpack defeated them 28-23.

I think we’ll stomp them, just like we did VA Tech!

But seriously, sooner or later MJ will have a tough game and throw some picks. It will be interesting to see how he responds.
