NC State Nose Tackle Cory Durden has made it official, and has declared for the 2023 NFL Draft. While this isn’t a declaration of a player leaving school early, it is worth the read, because it’s one of the most heartfelt declarations for the NFL Draft you’ll come across.

Durden was a 4-Star prospect in the 2017 recruiting class out of Florida, who the Wolfpack offered, but he ultimately committed to FSU. He redshirted in 2017, and played for the Seminoles in 2018-20, starting in 16 of the 32 games he played in over three seasons.

In 2021, Durden transferred to NC State, and his game went to the next level, earning 1st Team All-ACC honors in 2021, and 3rd Team honors this year.
