It’s official. 4-Star F/C Isaiah Miranda has ARRIVED at NC State. As of today, he is enrolled as a student at NC State and will begin practicing with the team today.

It looks like Miranda will be wearing the #3.

After an 0-2 start in ACC play, the midseason addition of the #16 player in the 2023 recruiting class might just be the boost this team needs. Miranda will not be able to play in the Wolfpack’s next game against Furman tomorrow, but he will be able to play in their game against Vanderbilt this Saturday up in Chicago at the Legends of Basketball Showcase.

Just read the Go Pack article with quotes from Keatts. I HATE getting overly optimistic. So, this sound almost too good to be true. It’s not the gushing about his skills. It’s the comments about his attitude and the reaction from the team.

GO PACK!
Please, make the uncontrollable, damn the facts, Keatts Haters eat crow.

Ok. The kid is 7 feet and can dunk the ball over smaller players. I did watch him block smaller players jump shots, but we never see video of footwork on defense. We need REBOUNDING and defense. State has not had a top 35 player in so long, I do not know what to realistically expect. I wish Mahorcic was here to school him. God I hope Burns doesn’t fall on him 🤣

No ‘bags of doorknobs’ left on the schedule. Will we see him at all?

Good question. Keatts plays those who practice well. DJ Burns did a yeoman’s job in Miami. Thirty minutes is about all we can expect. Losing Mahorcic is a serious blow and neither Ross or Dowuona are performing like world beaters, yet. It is really obvious we can use more help inside, now. I expect this kid will play (were promises made?) If he really is a defensive, rebounding, shot blocker, he will get the minutes. The leadership, intensity, and defense we lost with Mahorcic’s injury is gone. And that sucks!
