Old Dominion Safety Transfer Robert Kennedy III is Taking an Official Visit to NC State this Weekend

Old Dominion Transfer Defensive Back Robert Kennedy III (5’10″/185) confirmed with me that he will be taking an Official Visit to NC State this weekend.

The Wolfpack offered on December 7th.

He took an Official Visit to Boston College last weekend.

Kennedy is originally a 3-star prospect out of Jeannette High School (Jeannette, PA), and was ranked as the #6 player in the state of Pennsylvania in the 2018 recruiting class.

In 2019, Kennedy would start his collegiate career playing at the JUCO level, playing for Lackawanna in 2018 and 2019. He then transferred to East Carolina, and played 5 games for the Pirates in 2020.

Kennedy then decided to transfer to Old Dominion, where he redshirted in 2021, and started all 11 games at Safety for the Monarchs in 2022. He finished this year with 52 tackles, 6 pass breakups and 1 interception.
