Texas Tech Defensive Tackle Philip Blidi (6’3″/295) entered the Transfer Portal on December 14th, and he then received an offer from NC State two days later.

Blidi is taking an Official Visit to Indiana this weekend, but I spoke with him, and he said his next Official Visit will be to NC State, he just has to get it scheduled.

In 2022, Blidi played in all 12 games, tallying 18 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks.

Blidi was a 3-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class, holding offers from Kansas, UCLA, Utah and others. 247Sports ranked him as the #1 player in the state of New Mexico in 2020.

The Wolfpack hosted Texas Tech in Carter-Finley this year, with the home team winning 27-14. Blidi had 4 tackles against NC State. He got a close up view of what a game is like in Carter-Finley, and what NC State’s defense is all about.

Blidi should have 2 years of eligibility remaining.
