Oregon Offensive Tackle Transfer Dawson Jaramillo (6’5″/300) just confirmed with me that he has committed to NC State! I will be following this up with a Q&A with Jaramillo shortly.

Jaramillo took an Official Visit to NC State this past weekend, after entering the Transfer Portal on December 15th.

Jaramillo was a 4-star prospect in the 2018 recruiting class. ESPN ranked him as the #1 player in the state of Oregon, and the #127 overall player nationally.

This season, Jaramillo played in 6 games, totaling 77 snaps, earning a grade of 69.9 according to ProFootballFocus. In 2021, he played in 329 snaps in 10 games. Over the past two seasons, Jaramillo has played all over the offensive line for the Ducks, playing at both Guard and Tackle, and even practiced at Center.

Jaramillo joins Clemson Wide Receiver Transfer Dacari Collins as the Wolfpack’s 2nd pickup from the Transfer Portal. Both were 4-star players ranked in the Top-150 nationally coming out of high school.

Jaramillo has 1 year of eligibility remaining.

Also, for fun, go give Jaramillo a follow. Dude loves his mullet, and posts a pic every Monday for #MulletMonday.

Well.. Jaramillo was a 4-star prospect in the 2018 recruiting class. ESPN ranked him as the #1 player in the state of Oregon, and the #127 overall player nationally…..
That sound impressive and now he has 4 years college experience. Do his collegiate stats match those numbers? In my Opinion, we NEED offensive linemen. Hope he delivers.
